The arrest marks a significant escalation in the Trump administration’s crackdown on immigration, as well as in its battles with judges across the country.

The FBI arrested a county judge in Milwaukee on Friday, alleging that she obstructed federal authorities who were seeking to detain an undocumented immigrant by escorting the man and his defense attorney though a nonpublic jury door.

The arrest of Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan marks a significant escalation in the Trump administration’s crackdown on immigration, in line with its rhetoric about going after local and state authorities on immigration-related matters. It’s also marks another step in the Trump administration’s battles with judges over federal policy.

In an appearance on Fox News on Friday, Attorney General Pam Bondi [Bimbo #3] the arrest to pull in the administration’s broader, repeated criticism of judges. “What’s happening to our judiciary is beyond me,” Bondi said, before using the term “deranged.”

Pitting the Feds vs. the States is a fight that Bimbo #3 Pam Bondi will not win. This is one of the dumbest moves King Donald’s underlings could have made.

Trump’s comments come as he continues to push a 10% tariff on almost every country, with tougher reciprocal tariffs on pause while he and his team try to hammer out new deals around the world.

King Donald’s big delusion is that the rest of the world will crawl into the White House on all fours and lick his boots. A few desperate suck-up might actually do that, but most of the world is bright enough to realize that they have choices. Among those choices are finding new trading partners and doing business elsewhere, which seem to be exactly what is happening.

On April 25, Ossoff spoke to a crowd of fired up Georgians that are already tired of Trump and want his ouster now instead of later. Ossoff said that Trump is giving White House “audience availability” to people who buy his “meme coin.” Ossoff believes this action places the president in impeachment territory.

“When the sitting president of the United States is selling access for what are effectively payments directly to him. There is no question that that rises to the level of an impeachable offense,” Ossoff claimed.

He reminded the audience that an impeachment proceeding would not happen with a Republican-majority in the House, but voters could definitely make a change to the composition of the lower chamber in Midterm elections in 2026.

Barron’s: Tariff Revenue Isn’t Coming Close to Trump’s $3 Billion Daily Promise

President Donald Trump has said U.S. tariffs are bringing in $3 billion of revenue a day. He has suggested they could one day replace income taxes.

Thus far, the data from the U.S. Treasury Department’s daily statements tell a different story.

Since tariffs rates were raised to current levels on April 9, the U.S. has collected $14.7 billion in revenue from imports, a 135% jump over the same days in 2024, and up 83% versus the comparable March 2025 period.

That’s a daily average of $918 million, far less than Trump cited earlier this month.

And from that $918M daily subtract loss of tourism, other business losses, and any resulting unemployment. King Donald pretends to win; we little people lose, always.

Salon: Pete Hegseth’s Orwellian purge leaves US military academies less free

I was shocked and upset to learn recently that Maya Angelou’s “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings” was, under orders of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, pulled from the shelves of Nimitz Library on the campus of the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. As if the removal of this seminal text of American literature were not egregious enough, in this “DEI purge,” staff also jettisoned “Memorializing the Holocaust,” by Janet Jacobs’ and “Jack Johnson: Rebel Sojourner,” by Theresa Runstedtler.

Nearly four hundred other books were purged, prompting members of the House Armed Services Committee to demand that the Navy, “stop the removal of books from the service academy’s library.” Every American should make the same demand.  Moreover they should urge their representatives in Congress to also demand that Hegseth return the purged books to the library.

The United States proposed sending up to 500 Venezuelan migrants with alleged ties to the Tren de Aragua gang to El Salvador as the two governments sought to reach an agreement on the use of the Central American nation’s notorious mega-prison, according to emails seen by CNN.

“These people are being thrown out of the country because of tattoos,” Judge Alvin Hellerstein said in court last Tuesday. “There is nothing in this statute or proclamation that authorizes the United States of America to hire a jail in a foreign country for people could be subjected to cruel and unusual punishment not allowable in the United States jails.”

Rep. Kathy Castor (D-Fla.) said Monday that a mom in her Tampa district was “ripped away” from her infant by ICE agents and unlawfully deported to Cuba.

In a letter to President Donald Trump, Castor urges him to “immediately” grant humanitarian parole for Heidy Sánchez, whose husband told Castor that ICE agents’ separation of Sanchez from her infant daughter was so traumatic that the baby was taken to the hospital.

Do you honestly think that King Donald is capable of doing anything “humanitarian”?

“The baby was still breastfeeding at the time your Administration tore them apart, and the baby’s ongoing health issues require her mother’s return to the U.S. as soon as possible,” Castor wrote to Trump.

“It is unconscionable and wrong for your ICE personnel to harm families in this way,” she said. “Ms. Sánchez is entitled to due process, and her husband and daughter (both U.S. citizens) deserve to be treated with the dignity we value as Americans.”
