In addition to his numbers flub, Trump reportedly left the stage after his speech and had to be escorted back to the dais in order to sign the bill that placed the tariffs in effect at midnight. Amid ongoing threats from President Donald Trump to use drone strikes against drug cartels, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum reiterated her opposition to any military action inside her country.

Democratic strategist James Carville warned Americans to be on “high alert” after listeners suggest President Donald Trump would do everything from rigging the upcoming midterm elections to declaring martial law.
