US Mirror: Elon Musk ‘rattled’ as he’s brutally trolled during gaming livestream from his private jet

Elon Musk was told he ‘will die alone’ as the Tesla CEO was brutally mocked during a gaming livestream aboard his private jet before he suddenly quit after his character was repeatedly killed

Another one of Elon Musk’s attempts to prove that he is good at gaming spectacularly backfired on him as the Tesla CEO was ruthlessly trolled during a livestream from his private jet before suddenly quitting the game.

Musk went live on X on Saturday, showing himself playing Path of Exile 2 aboard his private jet in what he called an “airborne continuity test” of his satellite internet service Starlink. But shortly after the livestream started, the tech billionaire became inundated with messages from other players in the game’s chat as they brutally mocked him.

“You have no real friends and will die alone,” one message said. “You ruined the country just like you ruined all your marriages,” another player wrote.

“Elon how is it possible to look this dumb and ugly why is ur Tesla company falling apart,” one gamer commented. Another even pretended to be Ashley St Clair, the MAGA influencer who claimed in February that Musk had fathered her child.

“Elon. It’s me, Ashley St Claire. I have no other means of contacting you so I bought PoE2 early access just for this. Please pay your child support. Thank you Elon,” a message that popped up continuously read. “Anyone spamming the chat will get uhhh,” Musk said as he spotted the trolling and clicked an ignore button on some of the messages.

One player told the Space X founder that his estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, “was right” in reference to her recent claims about Musk’s poor gaming skills. During a rare interview with Twitch streamer Hasan Piker last month, Vivian said her dad is “god awful” at gaming.

Major furniture store announces closure as they fire all staff citing Trump’s tariffs on Mexico

A major furniture retailer is closing its doors by the end of the year, they say, making the announcement this week as they also lay off all of their staff members

Progressive Furniture has become one of the first U.S. companies to announce that they’ll be shutting down and laying off all 30 employees by year’s end – citing tariffs on their source factory. It comes as the economist whose work inspired Trump’s tariff plan says the White House got it ‘wrong’.

Progressive Furniture is a branch of Sauder Woodworking located in Claremont, North Carolina. They’re the world’s seventh-largest furniture manufacturer, selling their wares at Walmart, Target, and Home Depot.

US Mirror: Donald Trump slaps tariffs on pharmaceuticals causing huge fears over drug prices

During a speech at the National Republican Congressional Committee dinner on Tuesday, President Donald Trump said he would place tariffs on all imported pharmaceutical drugs

President Donald Trump has announced his intention to shake up the pharmaceutical industry with an alarming new tariff plan.

At the National Republican Congressional Committee dinner on Tuesday night, having ignored the warnings from experts, Trump declared: “We’re gonna tariff our pharmaceuticals and once we do that they’re gonna come rushing back into our country, because we’re the big market.”

He confidently stated that such measures would drive companies back to the US and promised: “So we’re going to be announcing very shortly a major tariff on pharmaceuticals.”

In other words, we’ll treat the pharmaceutical industry like sh*t and they’ll rush back loving us. Fat chance of that!

UK Mirror: China hits back at US with 84% tariffs and calls on world to ‘unite against Trump tyranny’

Markets took another plunge as China announced the increased tariff, the latest move in the escalating trade war between the two super powers that threatens to wipe out billions of dollars of trade

The madness accelerates:

China has said they will bring in an extra 84% tariffs on the US after Donald Trump put a 104% tariff on some Chinese imports to the US.

This is a 50% increase on top of China’s previous tariff. This comes after an editorial in the state-run newspaper China Daily declared: “Global unity can triumph over trade tyranny.”

“The situation has dangerously escalated. As one of the affected members, China expresses grave concern and firm opposition to this reckless move,” China said in a statement.

Beijing “firmly opposes and will never accept such hegemonic and bullying practices,” foregin ministry spokesperson Lin Jian told reporters on Wednesday.

Raw Story: ‘What the hell?’ Protester’s lawyer grilled by feds as he flies home from spring break

A Michigan lawyer who’s representing a pro-Palestinian demonstrator arrested at a campus protest says he was detained, interrogated and ordered to hand over his phone for inspection after returning from a spring break trip to the Dominican Republic with his family.

Dearborn attorney Amir Makled, whose client Samantha Lewis was among seven arrested last year following a protest at the University of Michigan, was grabbed after landing along with his wife and two daughters as they went through a passport screening. An agent notified the Tactical Terrorism Response Team after he was screened, reported the Detroit Free Press.

“I don’t know what triggered this,” Makled told the newspaper. “I don’t know if it’s a result of civil rights cases, or First Amendment issues involving student protesters. They wouldn’t tell me what it is.”

Two federal agents questioned the 38-year-old civil rights and criminal defense attorney for 90 minutes, and he agreed the law permitted them to briefly confiscate his phone, but he refused to let them have it because it contained privileged information regarding his clients. Ultimately he allowed them to view his contact list.

“I’m an American citizen, I’m not worried about being deported,” Makled said, recalling what he thought in the interrogation room. “So, I tell them, ‘I know you can take my phone. I’m not going to give you my phone, however … 90 percent of my work is on my phone. You’re not getting unfettered access to (it).’ “

“This current administration is doing something that no administration has done — they are attacking attorneys,” Makled said. “This is a different type of threat to the rule of law that I see. They are now challenging the judiciary, or lawyers, they’re putting pressure (on them) to dissuade attorneys from taking on issues that are against the government’s issues. We have an obligation as lawyers to stand up to this stuff.”

Newsweek: Trump DHS Orders 900K Biden-Era Migrants to Leave ‘Immediately’

900,000 immigrants who were here LEGALLY are going to disappear overnight? Do you believe in magic?

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has ordered migrants who entered the U.S. via the CBP One app to leave “immediately.”

The Biden-era CBP One app—through which more than 900,000 people were allowed temporary entry beginning in January 2023—was used to schedule appointments at ports of entry and helped migrants live and work under parole in the U.S. for two years.

US Mirror: Duke star facing deportation by Trump administration fled war before NBA icon discovered him

Just days after Duke’s Final Four exit, freshman center Khaman Maluach is facing a much greater challenge than any basketball game.

A new policy from U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio threatens to revoke visas held by South Sudanese passport holders — placing the 18-year-old Blue Devil at risk of deportation despite completing a full season as a student-athlete.

It’s a stunning turn for a young man who has already fled war, rebuilt his life in exile, and became one of the most remarkable success stories in international basketball.

Law & Crime: ‘No such power … is given to the President’: Full appeals court thwarts Trump’s firing of Biden-appointed board members, setting stage for SCOTUS showdown

A federal appeals court has rejected the Trump administration’s attempt to oust members of two independent federal labor agencies in a pair of back-and-forth cases that will likely set the stage for a showdown at the U.S. Supreme Court and have a profound impact on President Donald Trump’s continued effort to slash the federal workforce.

In a 7-4 vote, the full panel of judges on the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia blocked the president from removing Cathy A. Harris from the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) and Gwynne Wilcox from the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), reasoning that they were improperly dismissed without cause.

“The government has not demonstrated the requisite ‘strong showing that [it] is likely [to] succeed on the merits’ of these two appeals,” the panel wrote in a three-page per curiam order. “The government likewise has not shown a strong likelihood of success on the merits of its claim that there is no available remedy for Harris or Wilcox, or that allowing the district court’s injunctions to remain in place pending appeal is impermissible.”

People: Trump Administration Opens More than 50% of Protected U.S. Forest Land for Logging: What That Means

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins claims that turning trees into timber will help prevent wildfires, though experts have deemed it a harmful and inefficient method

Following an executive order from President Donald Trump aimed at increasing U.S. timber production, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins has announced plans to remove environmental protections that will allow logging on millions of acres of national forest land.

More than 50% of the United States’ formerly protected national forests are now on-limits for the logging industry.

Raw Story: ‘Path of lawlessness’: Reagan-appointed judge buries Trump DOJ in scathing ruling

Over the weekend, a Justice Department attorney was put on administrative leave after acknowledging in court that he’d never been given a “satisfactory” answer for why the U.S. government couldn’t return a wrongfully deported immigrant from Venezuela who had been residing in Maryland. Now, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals is scolding the DOJ’s behavior in a new ruling.

In a unanimous decision on Monday, the court denied President Donald Trump’s administration’s efforts to resist returning Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States by midnight on Monday, wrote Politico legal reporter Kyle Cheney on X.

J. Harvie Wilkinson III, an appointee of former President Ronald Reagan, was particularly scathing in his reaction to government claims that it could not possibly bring Garcia back to the United States despite acknowledging his wrongful deportation.

“The government rightfully concedes that it was an ‘error’ and a ‘mistake’ to ignore this process,” Wilkinson wrote. “And, if it is truly a mistake, one would also expect the government to do what it can to rectify it. Most of us attempt to undo, to the extent that we can, the mistakes that we have made. But, to the best of my knowledge, the government has not made the attempt here. The facts of this case thus present the potential for a disturbing loophole: namely that the government could whisk individuals to foreign prisons in violation of court orders and then contend, invoking its Article II powers, that it is no longer their custodian, and there is nothing that can be done. It takes no small amount of imagination to understand that this is a path of perfect lawlessness, one that courts cannot condone.”
