Donald Trump’s administration lost its bid to keep a wrongly deported Maryland man, Kilmar Ábrego García, in custody.

García, who was purportedly sent to El Salvador in error, was recently returned to the United States to face federal criminal charges.

According to legal expert Anna Bower on Sunday, “A federal magistrate judge DENIES the government’s motion to keep Kilmar Abrego Garcia in custody while his criminal charges are pending.”

“A separate order will enter, following hearing, directing Abrego’s release on conditions,” she wrote, quoting the order dated Sunday.

Donald Trump’s latest actions amount to “two bridges too far even for a lot of MAGA folks,” according to a former Republican strategist on Saturday.

First, Wilson noted the “assault” of Senator Padilla, who was tackled while speaking out at a press conference for DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.

The second, Wilson said, was sending the Marines into LA.

After it was suggested that Republicans “lost their footing” when it comes to immigration, Wilson said, “I think Senator Padilla being assaulted, to my mind, and maybe you have another moment in the week you think is different, I think the Marines being deployed and Senator Padilla being assaulted, were two bridges too far even for a lot of MAGA folks.”

Wilson’s guest agreed, calling the assault a “flex of muscle” that will backfire on the administration.

“As you may have heard two Democratic lawmakers and their spouses were shot in a targeted and politically motivated attack. State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark were assassinated. State Senator John Hoffman and his wife were shot multiple times and there is still hope that they will survive,” Mary Trump wrote.

She added, “These attacks are the direct result of the dangerous political climate Donald Trump has created, purposefully and maliciously, driven by his need for division and retribution, and his thirst for power.”

“Such incidents make even more urgent the need for us to protest while also increasing the need for us to keep ourselves and each other safe,” Trump’s niece added.

Donald Trump on Sunday evening raged against California Democrats, demanding they issue an apology.

Trump weighed in the protests in Los Angeles, which are related to Trump’s immigration enforcement efforts in the state.

After a day of tense stand-offs between protesters and authorities, the president took to his own social media site, Truth Social, to send a message to California Governor Gavin Newsom and other locals.

Referring to Newsom by a derogatory nickname, Trump said, “Governor Gavin Newscum and ‘Mayor’ Bass should apologize to the people of Los Angeles for the absolutely horrible job that they have done, and this now includes the ongoing L.A. riots.”

As usual Trump shows no class whatsoever.

“These are not protesters, they are troublemakers and insurrectionists. Remember, NO MASKS!” Trump raged over the weekend.

In a follow-up post, Trump simply stated, “Paid Insurrectionists!”

Those closest to Donald Trump are starting to question the president, according to a former insider.

Author and former Trump associate Lev Parnas, who has reported on Trump’s purported “humiliation” by Russia’s Putin, on Sunday published an article entitled “Trump Is Tearing It All Down — But There Is Hope,” in which he explains all the harm he sees Trump doing to our nation.

“We have a president, twice impeached, now back in power, ignoring court rulings and pardoning domestic extremists — people who plotted to kidnap a sitting governor — while openly mocking the rule of law,” he said, adding, “So yes — it’s understandable to feel overwhelmed. But here’s the truth you need to hold onto.”

Parnas proudly proclaims, “In darkness, there is still hope.”

“The louder Trump gets, the more people start to whisper,” he added, before dropping some news from his MAGA sources.

Marjorie Taylor Greene said Sunday she isn’t satisfied with what Donald Trump’s administration has so far been able to accomplish.

After commenting on former President Joe Biden’s cancer diagnosis, the MAGA ally turned to X to talk about how little Trump’s team has been able to find out about those who tried to assassinate him.

“Thomas Crooks shot Pres Trump and we still know nothing even though we are in charge,” she wrote Sunday.

She continued, saying that “Ryan Routh tried to assassinate him and we still have not seen his trial,” before turning to a more current development. “James Comey threatens to assassinate him and publicly calls for it and he’s on his way to a best seller.”

She then added, “Trump makes a phone call to Zelensky and gets impeached. Trump says ‘go peacefully and make your voices heard’ and gets impeached again. Bannon and Navarro go to jail for refusing to show for a sham congressional subpoena, but Christopher Wray walks free for refusing to show for our congressional subpoena.”

“Don’t tell me to get outraged when nothing is done to hold these people accountable. No accountability means people stop caring,” she concluded.

“Trump is now threatening Supreme Court justices who ruled against him,” Democratic influencer Harry Sisson said on Saturday.

That is just one of the notable people who over the weekend accused the president of lobbing indirect threats at the members of the mostly conservative Supreme Court, many of whom Trump himself appointed.

The allegations stem from a Trump Truth Social post on Saturday, when the president shared a comment made by a MAGA attorney.

Former GOP staffer Mike Davis has made headlines for his social media comments in the past, and was rumored to be on Trump’s list for attorney general. Recently, he posted a plan to get back at the Supreme Court justices for not ruling in line with MAGA.

“The Supreme Court still has an illegal injunction on the President of the United States, preventing him from commanding military operations to expel these foreign terrorists,” Davis wrote. “The President should house these terrorists near the Chevy Chase Country Club, with daytime release.”

Chevy Chase Club is “an elite country club that counts Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. among its members,” the Washington Post reports.

The president over the weekend told Walmart’s executives that they should absorb any increased costs that he has created on imported goods through trade policies.

“I’ll be watching, and so will your customers!!!” Trump wrote as he demanded Wal-Mart and China simply “eat the tariffs.”

But that didn’t sit well with many longtime Trump onlookers, who observed that the president previously said no one would need to eat the tariffs.

Author James Surowiecki said, “But Trump has said over and over again that foreign countries pay tariffs, not US businesses or consumers.”

“If that’s true, why would Walmart have to eat anything?” he then asked.
