Mediaite: Alina Habba [Bimbo #4] Hails Arrest of ‘Grandstanding’ Democratic Mayor at ICE Detention Facility

Newark Democratic Mayor Ras Baraka was arrested on Friday for allegedly trespassing at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility in the city.

Shortly afterward, Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey Alina Habba phoned into Fox News to gloat about it.

Baraka and three New Jersey Democratic members of Congress – Rep. Monica McIver, Rep. Bob Menendez Jr., and Bonnie Watson Coleman – visited the facility, Delaney Hall, which is anticipated will hold 1,000 immigrants. Habba tweeted about Baraka’s arrest and claimed the mayor was trespassing.

“The Mayor of Newark, Ras Baraka, committed trespass and ignored multiple warnings from Homeland Security Investigations to remove himself from the ICE detention center in Newark, New Jersey this afternoon,” she wrote. “He has willingly chosen to disregard the law. That will not stand in this state. He has been taken into custody. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.”

I’ve seen the video, you lying bitch. He was arrested OUTSIDE the perimeter, and all 3 members of Congress were assaulted by ICE’s thugs.

The only “Grandstander” here is Alina Habba, Bimbo #4.

The more we see of ICE, the worse it gets.

Raw Story: Newark mayor decries ‘egregious’ warrantless ICE raid

Federal agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement carried out a warrantless raid on Thursday targeting a local establishment in Newark, New Jersey, according to Newark Mayor Ras Baraka—who decried the move as an “an egregious act” in violation of the U.S. constitution.

Federal agents detained both undocumented residents and citizens, including a U.S. military veteran, Baraka said in a statement Thursday.

The local outlet PIX11 reported that ICE agents targeted the Ocean Seafood Depot, a wholesale seafood distributor. Store owner Luis Janota told the outlet that three people were taken into custody, including a Puerto Rican employee who is a military veteran. People from Puerto Rico have U.S. citizenship.

Newsweek: Iraq War Veteran in US for Nearly 30 Years Can Be Deported: Judge

An Arizona resident who has lived in the U.S. legally for decades―and even fought a war for the country―may be deported, after an immigration judge’s ruling on Friday.

Iraq War veteran Marlon Parris, who moved to the U.S. from the Caribbean in 1997 and was repeatedly issued Green Cards, was detained in January earlier this year.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) had previously ruled the Green Card holder should be allowed to stay in the U.S. despite serving prison time for a drugs offense back in 2011 because the crime was nonviolent.

However, airport officials confiscated his Green Card in 2023 when he returned from a vacation abroad with his wife. Parris was still embroiled in the legal process to have his card returned when he was unexpectedly pulled over in his car by ICE officials in January, who reportedly told him he was “on a list” to be detained and he now faces deportation.

The 2011 decision should be honored. It is grossly unfair to do otherwise 14 years later.
