- A GoFundMe campaign, “Help a Family Rebuild After Unjust Raid,” supports a U.S. citizen family mistakenly raided by ICE on April 24, 2025, in Oklahoma City.
- The campaign raised over $25,000 from 470+ donors within 24 hours, reflecting strong community empathy.
- The raid left the family, led by a mother called Marissa, traumatized and without phones, laptops, or savings.
- Controversy surrounds the raid’s execution, with critics arguing it violated the family’s rights, while DHS defends it as lawful.

Associated Press: FBI reassigns agents photographed kneeling during 2020 racial justice protest, AP sources say
The photographs at issue showed a group of agents taking a knee during one of the demonstrations following the May 2020 killing of Floyd, a death that sparked widespread anger after millions of people saw video of his arrest and led to a national reckoning over policing and racial injustice.
The kneeling angered some in the FBI but was also understood as a possible de-escalation tactic during a period of widespread protests, and the agents were not punished at the time.
Patel pledged at his January confirmation hearing that he would not “go backwards” in seeking retribution against perceived adversaries of the Trump administration. But even before he was sworn in, there was concern that the Justice Department was poised to do exactly that, including by demanding a list of the thousands of agents who worked on investigations into the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol, a request seen by some as a possible precursor to a purge at the bureau.

Associated Press: A Palestinian student at Columbia is freed after his arrest at a citizenship interview
A major win for freedom and the First Amendment, a major loss for our wannabe dictator King Donald:
A judge on Wednesday released a Palestinian student at Columbia University who led protests against Israel’s war in Gaza and was arrested by immigration officials during an interview about finalizing his U.S. citizenship.
Immigration authorities have arrested and detained college students from around the country since the first days of the Trump administration, many of whom participated in campus protests over the Israel-Hamas war, which has killed more than 52,000 Palestinians.
Mohsen Mahdawi is among the first of those students to win his freedom after challenging an arrest. He walked out of a Vermont courthouse Wednesday and led hundreds of supporters in chants including “No fear” and “Free Palestine.” He said people must come together to defend both democracy and humanity.

Daily Digest: Trump is spreading chaos through the law sector
President Trump’s targeted executive order against private law firms, several since his inauguration, are reshaping the law world by pushing big companies to cut deals or recoil.
President Trump targeted various law firms, stripping them of security clearances, federal contracts, and access to government buildings. Perkins Coie, Covington & Burling, WilmerHale, and Paul Weiss are examples.
All the targeted firms have had ties with or represented a Democrat or someone President Trump perceives as an enemy. WilmerHale, for example, once housed Robert Mueller.

KFOR: Homeland Security admits Oklahoma raid targeted wrong people
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security admits they know the mom and three daughters who say ICE agents left them traumatized when they raided their Oklahoma City home were not the suspects they were after.
Since KFOR first told you about the family’s ordeal on Monday, hundreds of people from all corners of the country are asking, How could this have happened?
That is the same question KFOR has been asking, and so far, it still has not been answered.
…
[The U.S. Department of Homeland Security] finally responded Wednesday, confirming the raid on Marissa’s house was part of that nationwide operation, and admitting for the first time that Marissa and her family were not supposed to be targeted.
Telling KFOR, “Ice was carrying out a court-authorized search warrant for a large-scale human smuggling investigation. The search warrants included the location of an address where U.S. citizens recently moved. The previous residents were the intended targets.”
…
[Attorney Patrick Jaicomo] says his group will represent Marissa for free too. Telling us her case fits a years-long pattern of questionable raids.
“Based on the facts as I understand them right now, there’s no question that there was a lack of due diligence,” said Jaicomo.
So Homeland Security admits that they f*ck*d up, but thus far has failed to explain why and has not returned the cell phones / laptops / cash that they looted from the home.
Looters should be shot on sight! Especially government looters! No mercy for these fascist DHS pond scum!

Daily Beast: Kash Patel Quietly Removed as Acting ATF Director After Ghosting Gig
Great! Now fumigate the FBI and exterminate the creep there, too!

New York Post: Kristi Noem [Bimbo #2] dodges kicks from migrant suspect as she leads ICE deportation raids in Phoenix
Couldn’t happen to a more deserving wench. Any dirtbag that shoots pet puppies and goats deserves to be kicked around the block and then some.
The Post was there as she dodged kicks from a suspect wearing slip-on shoes and gamely told him, “You’re not scaring me with your Croc.”
Aim better next time, Bubba. She deserves it!
The multi-agency task force — led by Phoenix Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and joined by a coterie of federal law enforcement and immigration agencies — nabbed three illegal immigrant felons with extensive criminal histories.
Wow! 100 law enforcement officers to nab 3 illegal immigrants! What an efficient use of manpower! Not!
But it’s what one expects with Bimbo #2 running the show, when she’s not shooting pet puppies and goats.

Raw Story: Trump appointee’s disappearing act has key department at a standstill: report
5,000 poorly trained, poorly disciplined cowboys with guns, no boss!
Although ICE seems to be winning the current popularity contest, BATF traditionally has been considered the worst of the federal law enforcement agencies. It was BATF that ultimately caused the deaths of ~80 people at the Branch Davidian complex near Waco, Texas.
“As the Post’s Perry Stein and Yvonne Wingett Sanchez wrote, ‘Patel arrived at ATF’s Northeast Washington headquarters, snapped photos in the lobby, met career leaders and commended their work, according to multiple people familiar with the visit. But since then, Patel has not returned, and there appears to be scant communication between the acting director and the people who work for the 5,000-person agency, said the people familiar with the situation.'”
