Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is amplifying an AI-generated image of President Donald Trump, who has never served in the military, wearing a U.S. Navy uniform similar to those worn by Admirals, and claiming that he is “protecting our shores!”
Noem wrote: “President Trump LOVES the American people. That is why drug traffickers and narco-trafficking boats will no longer be allowed to transport deadly drugs into American territory. Thank you, @POTUS Trump for protecting our shores!”
The AI image is accompanied by a parody video called The Drug Boat (using an altered version of The Love Boat TV show theme song), which celebrates the fatal bombing of a boat in the Caribbean which Trump ordered, claiming the people who were on the boats were drug dealers (“terrorists”) and headed to the United States.
Note: The deadly attack in September was a departure from traditional interdiction of ships suspected of smuggling drugs in international waters. In the past, U.S. authorities (from the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard) board such vessels, seize the drugs and identify suspects to build a criminal case.
BBC News reported that since the U.S. is not engaged in war with Venezuela, the strike “runs afoul of the right to life under international human rights law.”
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, spoke out against the attack. He said: “We assume these people were bad people and drug dealers, but if they were caught off the coast of Miami, we would stop the boat. They don’t shoot at us, we don’t shoot at them, they’re confiscated, they’re put in jail, and they go through a trial to prove what they were doing.”
Paul added: “The reason we have trials and we don’t automatically assume guilt is, what if we make a mistake?” Paul added: “Off our coast, it isn’t our policy to just blow people up.””

Mediaite: Fox’s Jennifer Griffin On Trump’s Military Moves: ‘Looks to Me Like the US Military is Going to War’
Fox’s News Chief National Security Correspondent Jennifer Griffin made an ominous observation Friday about the deployment of several fighter jets and U.S. Navy vessels to Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Sea.
Griffin posted the news on Friday midday, writing, “The Pentagon is deploying 10 F-35 stealth fighter jets to Puerto Rico for counter-narcotics tasking in the Caribbean, a source familiar confirms to Fox News per Lucas Tomlinson.”
Griffin, one of the most respected national security reporters in the country, then added, “Why would you need F35 stealth fighter jets for a counternarcotics mission?”
“The F35s being sent to Puerto Rico are usually used for large bombing missions like the targeting of Iran’s nuclear facilities- a 5th generation supersonic fighter jet known for its lethality. It looks to me like the US military is going to war. 8 US Navy destroyers in the Caribbean near Venezuela is a first,” Griffin warned, suggesting the U.S. may be on a war footing.
Earlier in the week, President Donald Trump announced they bombed a vessel in the Caribbean that was allegedly carrying drugs and operated by the Tren de Aragua gang.
“The strike occurred while the terrorists were at sea in International waters transporting illegal narcotics, heading to the United States. No U.S. Forces were harmed in this strike. Please let this serve as notice to anybody even thinking about bringing drugs into the United States of America,” Trump announced on Truth Social.
The announcement raised questions surrounding the scope of the U.S. military’s mission in the Caribbean and under what legal authority the Trump administration is operating. Vice President JD Vance was asked on Wednesday, “On the Venezuela vessel strike, what legal authority were you guys working under? And will there be an after-action report on the strike?”
“Well, I’m sure there’s going to be an after-action report. I mean, the legal authority, and I want to talk about these kids, is that there are people who are bringing literal terrorists, who are bringing deadly drugs into our country, and the President of the United States ran on a promise of stopping this poison from coming into our country,” Vance replied, dodging the question. “Another question?”

Why? Because Trump is looking for a real war for his freshly renamed War Department.
Daily Beast: U.S. Navy Wants to Hold a Massive Boat Parade to Cheer Up Trump
The president wants all the ships.
The U.S. Navy is reportedly planning a lavish parade of its own after a multimillion-dollar military parade earlier this year left President Donald Trump feeling flat.
Trump hosted the military’s largest parade in decades in Washington, D.C., on June 14 to mark 250 years of the U.S. Army—and also, conveniently, his own 79th birthday.
As well as “No Kings” protests against Trump across the country to coincide with the military anniversary event that cost taxpayers $30 million, footage of “lackluster” soldiers marching out of step went viral. Photos suggested that the president rested his eyes at one point during his birthday party. Crowd figures were also less than impressive.
A new report in The Wall Street Journal has intel from the president’s administration that a do-over parade could be in the works—this time taking place at sea.
Trump told his aides that he was disappointed with the marching in the June event, according to the Journal, and was hoping the Navy could deliver a grander celebration.
The president is reportedly “hoping for a shimmering spectacle with seacraft,” the Journal noted.
The Daily Beast has contacted the White House and the U.S. Navy for comment.
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung claimed “over 250,000″ patriots turned up for the June 14 parade, but significant gaps in the crowd suggested attendance fell far short of predictions.
Meanwhile, ‘No Kings’ protests around the country on Trump’s birthday became one of the biggest-ever single-day protests in America, drawing over 4 million people in 820 locations.
Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel aired footage of what looked like the president nodding off during his parade. “There’s Sleepy Don taking it all in,” he said. “And in fairness, that’s as close as he gets to be able to sleep with his wife, so he took the opportunity.”
Great! Now the self-obsessed narcissistic Child King wants a boat show. 🙁

2paragraphs: U.S. Senator Accuses Pete Hegseth of Lying About Hiring MAGA Civilians, “This Is Outrageous”
When Murray said “the Navy needs welders, not people who can recite a president’s executive orders,” Hegseth sought to reassure the Senator, saying “there’s never been a litmus test for hiring welders.”
This week, Murray obtained a copy of Hegseth’s “hiring merit plan” and questionnaire which includes the query, “How would you help advance the President’s Executive Orders and policy priorities in this role? Identify one or two relevant Executive Orders or policy initiatives that are significant to you, and explain how you would help implement them if hired.”
Murray responded to Hegseth’s Pentagon litmus test questionnaire, saying: “This is outrageous.”
Alternet: ‘Why do that?’ Fox News host defends ‘decorated veteran’ against Musk’s ‘traitor’ smear
Elon Musk = Surrender Monkey
During a recent visit to Ukraine, Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Arizona) expressed his support for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and additional U.S. military aid for the war-torn country. But far-right Tesla/Space/X/X.com leader Elon Musk, a close ally of U.S. President Donald Trump, disagreed with Kelly’s position and called him a “traitor.”
Many Democrats are calling Musk out, noting that Kelly is a former U.S. Navy combat pilot. Musk, however, defended his attack on Kelly during a Thursday night, March 27 appearance on Fox News.
Fox News host Bret Baier questioned the wisdom of calling Kelly a “traitor,” asking Musk, “Why do that?”
The billionaire Trump ally responded, “Well, I think somebody should be — should care about the interest of the United States above the interests of another country. And if they don’t, they’re a traitor.”
Baier, however, defended Kelly, telling Musk, “Yes. But he’s a decorated veteran, a former astronaut, a sitting U.S. senator.”
Musk doubled down on his position, accusing Kelly of putting “the interest of another country above America.”
