Mediaite: Trump Calls for the Prosecutions of Kamala Harris, Beyonce and Oprah in Shocking Post: ‘YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PAY FOR AN ENDORSEMENT!’

President Donald Trump is calling for former Vice President Kamala HarrisBeyonceOprah, and Rev. Al Sharpton to be criminally prosecuted for alleged campaign finance violations.

In a shocking post to Truth Social late Saturday, the president accused Beyonce, Oprah and Sharpton of improperly taking money from the Harris campaign.

Here is Trump’s post in full:

“I’m looking at the large amount of money owed by the Democrats, after the Presidential Election, and the fact that they admit to paying, probably illegally, Eleven Million Dollars to singer Beyoncé for an ENDORSEMENT (she never sang, not one note, and left the stage to a booing and angry audience!), Three Million Dollars for “expenses,” to Oprah, Six Hundred Thousand Dollars to very low rated TV “anchor,” Al Sharpton (a total lightweight!), and others to be named for doing, absolutely NOTHING! These ridiculous fees were incorrectly stated in the books and records. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PAY FOR AN ENDORSEMENT. IT IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL TO DO SO. Can you imagine what would happen if politicians started paying for people to endorse them. All hell would break out! Kamala, and all of those that received Endorsement money, BROKE THE LAW. They should all be prosecuted! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

It is unclear where Trump obtained those figures. Campaign finance records show Beyonce’s production company, Parkwood Entertainment, was paid $165,000 for her appearance at an Oct. 26 rally in Houston. Tina Knowles, Beyonce’s mother, called the claim that her daughter was paid eight figures “a lie.” Records also show Oprah’s production company — Harpo Productions — was given $1 million to put together a live-streamed town hall in Michigan. Sharpton’s National Action Network was paid $500,000, according to records, for get out the vote initiatives. Campaign finance law dictates that are required to pay the fair-market value for event costs.

Still, this is not the first time Trump has floated these accusations — though it is the first time he’s calling for criminal prosecutions. Back in December, Trump wrote, “Are the Democrats allowed to pay $11,000,000, $2,000,000, and $500,000 to get the ENDORSEMENT of Beyoncé, Oprah, and Reverend Al? I don’t think so! Beyoncé didn’t sing, Oprah didn’t do much of anything (she called it “expenses”), and Al is just a third rate Con Man. So what is going on here??? Totally against the law, and I have heard there are many others!!!”

Then in May, he added Bruce Springsteen and Bono to the list — though a records search showed neither man nor any related entities received payouts from the Harris campaign, and Bono didn’t even endorse her.

“HOW MUCH DID KAMALA HARRIS PAY BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN FOR HIS POOR PERFORMANCE DURING HER CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT?” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “WHY DID HE ACCEPT THAT MONEY IF HE IS SUCH A FAN OF HERS? ISN’T THAT A MAJOR AND ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION? WHAT ABOUT BEYONCÉ? … AND HOW MUCH WENT TO OPRAH, AND BONO??? I am going to call for a major investigation into this matter.”

Would somebody please check King Donald into a memory care unit?

Fox News: Rock band frontman declares Trump voters are ‘not allowed’ at his shows

‘Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’ singer claims ‘woke’ predictions about Trump have come true while slamming president’s Christian supporters

The lead singer of the alternative rock band “The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus” told supporters supporters of President Donald Trump they are permanently banned from his shows Saturday.

Frontman Ronnie Winter made the declaration in video posted to his band’s official Instagram page, saying, “If you voted for Donald Trump, do not come to my shows — forever, not just like these four years.”

He specifically attacked Christian Trump supporters, stating, “If you’re Christian and you voted for Donald Trump, shame on you. You are not allowed to come to my shows. I don’t want you there. Don’t come to my shows.”

Right on, man!

MSNBC: Trump’s attacks on Springsteen and Oprah aren’t legally sound. That’s not the point.

What history can tell us about celebrity campaign endorsements — and their impact.

Nothing seems to incite angry social media posts from President Trump quite like criticism from celebrities. And while celebrities in 2025 seem less interested in feuding with the volatile president, Bruce Springsteen did manage to poke the bear with an unsparing speech delivered before a May 14 concert in Manchester.

The president noticed. On Truth Social, Trump called Springsteen “a pushy, obnoxious JERK” with “atrophied skin.” But the pettiness didn’t stop with dermatological insults. In the early hours of May 19, Trump escalated even further, implying without evidence that Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign paid Springsteen and other stars, including Oprah Winfrey and Beyoncé, for their performances at campaign events, which was a “MAJOR AND ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION.” He proclaimed his intention to “call for a major investigation into this matter.”

Springsteen isn’t backing down in the wake of Trump’s stream of attacks, and musicians like Neil Young and Eddie Vedder have since come to his defense. The doubling and tripling down is so far mostly symbolic. But could Trump really investigate celebrity endorsements?

I don’t think so. Celebrities typically do not get paid for making endorsements. According to the Federal Election Commission, candidates can pay for endorsements as long as they are listed as a campaign expenditure. The Harris campaign has denied paying celebrities directly, claiming that any money sent to Winfrey ($1 million), Beyoncé ($165,000) and others are event production expenses paid out in accordance with federal election law.

“Usually I am reluctant to respond to rumors in general, but these days I realize that if you don’t stop a lie, it gets bigger. I was not paid a dime,” Winfrey said in video response to the Trump post….

Tina Knowles issued a similar denial last year when the same rumors circulated about her daughter: “The lie is that Beyonce was paid 10 million dollars to speak at a rally in Houston for Vice President Kamala Harris. When In Fact: Beyonce did not receive a penny for speaking at a Presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harrris’ Rally in Houston.”

New York Times: If We Can’t Prosecute Trump’s Foes, We’ll ‘Shame’ Them, Justice Dept. Official Says

Few, if any, of those singled out have done anything to invite conventional prosecutorial scrutiny, much less committed crimes to warrant an indictment under federal law.

President Trump has kept up a steady bombardment of suggestions, requests and demands to arrest, investigate or prosecute targets of his choosing — the former F.B.I. director James B. Comey, various Democrats, officials who refuted his election lies, Beyoncé, the Boss.

But Mr. Trump’s directives have so far hit a stubborn snag. Few, if any, of those singled out have done anything to invite conventional prosecutorial scrutiny, much less committed prosecutable crimes to warrant an indictment under federal law.

But a Trump loyalist, given new, vague and possibly vast power, has found a workaround.

In recent days, Ed Martin, the incoming leader of the Justice Department’s “weaponization” group, made a candid if unsurprising admission: He plans to use his authority to expose and discredit those he believes to be guilty, even if he cannot find sufficient evidence to prosecute them — weaponizing an institution he has been hired to de-weaponize, in the view of critics.

In other words, if they can’t prosecute their target, they’ll engage in character assassination.

So much for a professional Department of Justice!

Independent: Trump posts fake video of him hitting Bruce Springsteen with a golf ball as their spat grows

The president has fiercely criticized Bruce Springsteen after the rocker called his administration ‘corrupt’

President Donald Trump has posted a fake video of him hitting a golf ball at singer Bruce Springsteen amid a tense public feud.

Trump posted a video to Truth Social Wednesday showing real footage of him and Springsteen that has been manipulated to depict the president striking the rock star with a golf stroke.

This immature child is our president? If Springsteen had posted a video of him striking Trump with a golf stroke, the Secret Service would be on his case investigating him.

Raw Story: Trump is being ‘played for a fool’: conservative columnist

President Donald Trump is being “played by a fool” in negotiations over the Russian invasion of Ukraine, conservative columnist Max Boot warned in The Washington Post — and he has no idea how effortlessly he’s being used.

Trump has been tough to pin down on the Ukraine war. He has spent much of his political career sympathetic to Russia’s Vladimir Putin after his government interfered in the 2016 presidential election, and has frequently suggested Ukraine should give up territory to appease Russian aggression, but has more recently acted aware that Russia isn’t interested in peace — yet, Boot wrote, he keeps giving Putin far more chances than he is entitled to.

“President Donald Trump is not known for being patient or forgiving with those who defy his will,” wrote Boot. “In just the past few days, he has lashed out at New York Attorney General Letitia JamesBruce SpringsteenBeyoncé and former FBI director James B. Comey — all of whom have incurred his wrath for various reasons. Yet when it comes to dealing with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin — who continues to sabotage Trump’s showcase efforts to end the war in Ukraine — the president seems to have an endless supply of patience, goodwill and understanding.”

MSNBC: Trump took Bruce Springsteen’s bait [Opinion]

This week’s mini-feud pits two predictable septuagenarians against each other. And the result is a personal gift to the Boss.

“The mighty E Street Band is here tonight to call upon the righteous power of art, of music, of rock ’n’ roll in dangerous times,” he said in the minute-long speech, to raucous cheers.

“In my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration,” he continued before asking fans to “raise your voices against authoritarianism and let freedom ring!”

Later in the evening, Springsteen offered a withering takedown of what he’s seen happening in the U.S. under Trump.

“They are persecuting people for using their right to free speech and voicing their dissent,” Springsteen began, in remarks that were later posted on his website and YouTube channel. He continued:

They’re rolling back historic Civil Rights legislation that led to a more just and plural society. They’re abandoning our great allies and siding with dictators against those struggling for their freedom. They’re defunding American universities that won’t bow down to their ideological demands. They’re removing residents off American streets and, without due process of law, are deporting them to foreign detention centers and prisons.

He also took aim at Trump’s fellow Republicans, as well as the Democratic Party, arguing that they had all failed to protect Americans “from the abuses of an unfit president and a rogue government.”

Still, he said, “The America that I’ve sung to you about for 50 years is real, and regardless of its faults is a great country with a great people. So, we’ll survive this moment.”

And of course the vile King Donald just can’t resist the temptation to badmouth the Boss, and Biden, too. The final score:

Boss 1

Trump 0
