Israel’s national security minister says he met with ‘senior Republican Party’ officials at US President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.

Far-right Israeli minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has claimed that top US Republican lawmakers support bombing “food and aid depots” in Gaza.

The statement, made in a social media post on Wednesday, came after the Israeli national security minister said he had met with “senior Republican Party officials at [US President Donald] Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate” in Florida in the United States.

“They expressed support for my very clear position on how to act in Gaza and that the food and aid depots should be bombed in order to create military and political pressure to bring our hostages home safely,” Ben-Gvir posted on X in Hebrew.

And of course any foreign students who might take offence at such atrocities should have their visas revoked and deported! Welcome to King Donald’s Amerika!

As the global markets were tumbling at record levels, President Donald Trump was reportedly on a money-making spree in Mar-a-Lago.

As everyday folks were checking in on their 401ks and worrying about losing their Social Security payments, Trump’s family was pushing numerous separate money-making schemes, the New York Times reported on Saturday.

In an article entitled “Trump Family’s Cash Registers Ring as Financial Meltdown Plays Out,” the Times reports, “The party was on at a Saudi-backed LIV Golf tournament at the president’s Doral resort in Florida and a fund-raiser at Mar-a-Lago, even as markets tumbled.”

Trump has repeatedly disparaged American urban centers as dystopian hellscapes. His solutions are likely to hurt more than help.

It’s no secret that President Donald Trump has beef with America’s cities, especially the ones run by Democrats. He has long falsely cast them as crime-ridden, chaotic and dystopian — and often blamed immigrants for every urban ill.

Sure, cities aren’t perfect. But pandemic-era rates of violent crime have been dropping and cities remain economic engines, creating roughly 90% of the country’s output. And as US birth rates fall, cities owe much of their population growth to immigrants.
