Donald Trump is set to deploy ICE tactical units to five Democrat-run cities amid the riots in Los Angeles as Gavin Newsom nearly broke into tears while blaming his administration for inciting the California chaos.

The military-style units are set to storm New York City, Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia and northern Virginia, MSNBC reported. Four of those five are heavily blue cities, while northern Virginia contains the Democrat enclave of Alexandria.

‘Look, this isn’t just about protests here in Los Angeles, when Donald Trump sought blanket authority to commandeer the National Guard. He made that order apply to every state in this nation,’ Newsom said, as he teared up. 

‘This is about all of us. This is about you. California may be first, but it clearly will not end here. Other states are next. Democracy is next. Democracy is under assault before our eyes, this moment we have feared has arrived.’

Newsom accused Trump of ‘taking a wrecking ball to our founding fathers’ historic project’ of three co-equal branches of government.

New York Post: Armed National Guard troops stand guard for ICE agents as they make immigration raids in LA

Armed National Guard troops are accompanying immigration agents as they carry out mass deportation raids on the streets of Los Angeles.

The troops, who were mobilized by President Trump, are providing “operational security” to Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents after they faced attacks and threats from anti-ICE rioters, sources told The Post, which first broke the story.

It’s “in case s–t hits the fan,” said a federal law enforcement source.

… some are concerned that their presence could make the federal immigration agents an even bigger target, the first source said. “They’re showing up with Humvees and uniforms,” the source said.

NBC News: ICE protests held coast to coast as national movement grows after L.A. unrest

Activists plan more events Tuesday in New York, Chicago, Dallas and Atlanta.

The protests that have roiled Los Angeles seem to be spreading across the country, as activists gathered Tuesday in New York, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta and elsewhere.

Rallies protesting ICE raids and the government’s immigration policies have been planned across California and beyond this week. A series of so-called No Kings demonstrations is planned nationwide for Saturday.

Since Monday, NBC News counted at least 25 rallies and demonstrations coast to coast. Some involved only a few dozen participants, while others attracted thousands to make a stand against the detention and removal of suspected undocumented migrants.

[Bimbo #3] Bondi appeared on Fox News Monday to discuss the federal response, which state officials said had dramatically escalated tensions in the city. Trump has deployed 4,000 National Guard troops to L.A. over the objections of California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who said that in doing so, Trump has created the very conditions he claimed to be solving. Trump ignored pleas to dial down his rhetoric and has instead blasted what he calls a “migrant invasion” and “insurrectionist” protesters.

[Bimbo #3] Bondi faithfully echoed Trump’s hardline messaging on Hannity.

“What we’re going to do is we are going to enforce the law, regardless of what they do,” she said. “Look at it out there, it looks like a Third World country, and it’s not. It’s the United States of America. We are not standing for it.”

If Bimbo #3 were smart (little chance of that) she’d show some leadership and quit being such a suck-up to a king who is soon to be dethroned.

President Donald Trump has taken the extraordinary step of deploying 2,000 National Guard troops to quell protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids in L.A.—despite objections from Newsom and Bass—characterizing demonstrators as out-of-control and violent.

Demonstrators have clashed with federal agents over the sweeping immigration raids ICE has conducted this weekend. Both Newsom and Bass have condemned the raids while calling for protests to remain peaceful.

“These tactics sow terror in our communities and disrupt basic principles of safety in our city,” Bass said Friday. “We will not stand for this.”
