Vice-President J.D. [“Dunce”] Vance waded into the tug-of-war between the courts and executive branch in an interview published earlier this week, warning that the courts should pull back or risk stepping on the will of the American people.

How simple can I make this, Bubba?

The Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the courts exist to protect the rights and due process of our people from mob rule. Our rights are inalienable. The will of the people is irrelevant in this context.

How the hell did you ever pass high school civics, let alone earn a law degree? Your apparent stupidity is mindboggling.

“Donald Trump’s dinner is an orgy of corruption,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said Thursday. “That’s what this is all about. We are here today to talk about exactly one topic: corruption, corruption in its ugliest form.”  

“Donald Trump is using the presidency of the United States to make himself richer through crypto, and he’s doing it right out there in plain sight,” she added. “He is signaling to anyone who wants to ask for a special favor and is willing to pay for it exactly how to do that.”

Despite ethical questions raised over being able to buy access to the president, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters it was not an official event. “The president is attending it in his personal time,” she said on Thursday. “It is not a White House dinner, it’s not taking place here at the White House.”

Speaking to Anderson Cooper on Thursday, Democratic Senator Chris Murphy questioned the mystery around the guest list. “This might be close to the top of the most corrupt things that the president has done,” Murphy said. “There are 200 plus anonymous individuals who paid their way to meet with President Trump.”

According to Reuters, [South African President Cyril] Ramaphosa expected to mend diplomatic relations with the United States, after the Trump Administration decided to cut humanitarian aid, expelled the South African ambassador and offered refuge to white Afrikaners.

Instead, the US President confronted the South African leader with claims of white genocide and illegal land expropriations, which have been described by Reuters as patently false.

The BBC reports that Trump showed Ramaphosa a video, depicting several crosses along a road. The US President claimed that those were the burial sites of of murdered white farmers in South Africa.

According to the BBC, the video appears to be from a 2020 protest over a murdered farming couple in the Kwazulu-Natal province, with the crosses representing murdered farmers over the years.

U.S. Institute of Peace acting president George Moose reentered his Washington office on Wednesday for the first time since March, when he and many other agency leaders were booted out by DOGE staffers who declared them “unnecessary.”

“We are now back in the building and we intend to resume our stewardship and custodianship,” Moose told reporters in an impromptu briefing outside the USIP building. “It is not just the platform from which we’ve been doing our work—it is a symbol of the aspirations and the intent of the American people to be seen and to be peacemakers in the world.”

WSJ columnist Holman W. Jenkins, Jr. criticized tariffs, claiming they came from Trump’s “own confused intuition.” Following a press release termed “Liberation Day,” Trump imposed tariffs that caused the worst market performance since early 2020.

Jenkins said, “A future Trump impeachment seemed all but guaranteed.” He added, “It seems only slightly less likely now. It may even be desirable to restore America’s standing with creditors and trade partners.”

President Trump’s nominee to head the National Counterterrorism Center is under fresh scrutiny as emails show he pressed senior intelligence analysts to amend an assessment of links between the Venezuelan government and the criminal gang, Tren de Aragua, known as TDA, to align the assessment more closely with Trump administration policies and to include references critical of Biden-era immigration programs.

The nominee, Joe Kent, is just being a good sycophant, sucking up to the bosses and giving them what they want to hear.

Newsweek: White House rips federal judge who said Trump admin violated court order

White House press secretary Karoline [Bimbo #1] Leavitt tore into a federal judge on Thursday who accused the Trump administration of “unquestionably” violating a court order to provide “meaningful” due process to people who are targeted for deportation.

During Thursday’s White House press briefing, [Bimbo #1] Leavitt described Murphy as a “liberal activist district court judge” from Boston who “is trying to force the President of the United States to bring these monsters back to our country.”

While she spoke, a screen behind [Bimbo #1] Leavitt displayed photos of the deportees the White House says were on the flight and Leavitt rattled through a list of crimes the men are accused of or have been convicted of committing.

Your photos and rants are irrelevant, Karoline [Bimbo #1] Leavitt. Our constitution guarantees certain inalienable rights, including due process, to everyone in this country including immigrants, legal or not, whether a nattering fool like you agrees with it or not.

After a hearing on Wednesday, Baraka was caught on hot mic saying of the judge: ‘Jesus, he tore these people a new a–hole. Good grief.’

U.S Magistrate Judge André Espinosa lambasted Trump’s prosecutors for the misdemeanor charges against Baraka and said at the virtual hearing.

‘An arrest of a public figure is not a preliminary investigative tool. It is a severe action,’ he said.

Habba told the Daily Mail that the case was dismissed due to prosecutorial discretion.

“Prosecutorial discretion” = stupid prosecutor Alina “Bimbo #4” Habba knew she was about to get her ass handed to her on a platter, so she dropped the charges so as to avoid any further embarassment.

However, continuing the prosecution of Congresswoman Rep. LaMonica McIver is going to boomerang even more badly. 😀
